Get Ready for Halloween by Celebrating Bat Week with CPW
Colorado Parks and Wildlife celebrates Bat Week Oct. 24-31, an annual international recognition of the important role that these flying mammals play in nature. This event is an opportunity to get to know these wonderful animals that are vital to our health, environment, and economy - and also add some intrigue to Halloween.
This year, join CPW in celebrating bats and all that they do for our environment. Visit the CPW events calendar to find spooky events happening near you, like bats on the patio at Roxborough, a full moon hike at Barr Lake, or trunk or treat at Cherry Creek State Park, as well as other Halloween festivities

Family by Day Halloween festivities invade the park throughout the day each weekend, plus all your favorite Theme Park rides too. Little ghosts and goblins can enjoy Free Candy on the Trick or Treat Trail and partake in several Halloween themed interactive challenges.

Saturdays & Sundays: 12-5 PM
1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Young contestants battle it out through various Halloween themed challenges and activities. Join the fun as these victors relay, hop and jump their way to victory! Do you have what it takes?
Scream it Out
2:30 p.m. Do you have the loudest kid on the block? Prove it in this fun, ear-splitting contest on the Kiddieland Stage. The loudest shriek takes home the title of Scream King or Queen!
4:30 p.m. Bring the tykes dressed in their costumes to compete in a contest at the KiddieLand Stage.
Trick or Treat Trail
12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Little ghouls and goblins can trick or treat their way around KiddieLand! Pick up your trick or treat bags and maps at KiddieLand entrance. Restricted to guests 54" tall and under.

The Halloween Train is riding the rails again the end of this month. Back by popular demand, this ghoulish train ride runs October 26-27, 12:30 and 5 p.m., and October 28 at 12:30 p.m.
Ghastly ghosts and spine-chilling goblins, along with a family friendly costume parade, trick or treating on the train, Halloween games and some seriously creepy Halloween music, await the bravest souls who dare to ride.
While on board, guests may order lunch or dinner and drinks from the 403 Grill, featuring a ghoulish selection of fall brews, wines and other goodies. It's a whole lotta Spooktacular Halloween Train fun!
